Easily add the camera to your system using the Frontpoint mobile app. To mount the camera, you’ll just need to affix two screws to the mounting plate and then twist the camera onto the plate.

All three cameras offer visibility into your outdoor space with plenty of other state of the art features. While they are all reliable options, here’s what to know:
- The Premium Floodlight Camera provides the next level of protection and automation with two extremely powerful built-in floodlights that can be automated and the loudest siren.
- The Wired Outdoor Camera is lower maintenance than the Wireless Outdoor Camera because there’s no battery to change. The Wired Outdoor Camera is slightly speedier to start recording when motion is detected and also supports 24/7 Continuous Recording with the purchase of a compatible Micro SD Card.

2. Can I be notified when the camera detects movement?
Yes, the Frontpoint app can notify you whenever movement is detected. Video Analytics allows your camera to distinguish between a person, animal, or vehicle and will notify you accordingly. You can also set tripwires and virtual zones so that you’re only notified when activity is detected in designated areas.
3. Will my Wireless Outdoor Camera work if the power goes out?
No. Even though the Wireless Outdoor Camera is battery-powered, it still requires Wi-Fi to operate.
